The Art of Me: (Ages 9-11)

Service Description

Art has the power to tell stories, express ideas and celebrate individuality. In this reflective and creative session, young artists will explore how personal experiences, interests, values and dreams can inspire original works of art. Through painting, sculpture and mixed media projects, students will investigate how artists use symbolism, composition, color and visual storytelling to communicate meaning. With guided creative challenges and opportunities for personal choice, students will stregthen their artistic skills while developing confidence, creative independence and a deeper understanding of their own artistic voice.
