Paint Like the Masters: (Ages 9-11)

Service Description

Young artists will explore the techniques, styles and creative choices of influential artists throughout history while developing their own artistic voice. Through painting projects inspired by artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Alma Thomas, Helen Frankenthaler and Henri Matisse, students will investigate color theory, composition, brushwork and artistic intention. Students will learn how artists communicate ideas through painting while experimenting with different approaches and creating original works inspired by the masters.
